- The successful candidate will help lead the BDS Technology Release team within the Engineering Capability Center.
- The candidate will work across programs to understand the advanced technology capabilities and the ability of our teams to protect them, and will engage with the government Tri-Service Committee and other approval authorities to define and obtain approval for their requirements.
- The candidate will also aid the programs in requirements understanding, implementation solutions, and verification for release and export.
- Travel to support customer coordination is expected.
- This role will advance the design, development and maintenance of hardware and software-based product security solutions for the protection of critical military information and technology and includes:
- Supporting the verification of requirements, design, and implementation of security solutions and computing devices across multiple subsystem teams and technologies.
- Being accountable to program leads and management in day to day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
- Being highly motivated and able to exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter-personal, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment.
- Bachelor degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 10+ years of engineering/avionics experience
- 10+ years of technical leadership
- 10+ years of experience in design and/or integration of systems or subsystems in the Defense industry
- 10+ years of experience working with the US Government acquisition process
- Top Secret security clearance preferred
- Experience in the anti-tamper or product security domain preferred

This role will be located in St. Louis, MO. This job is an opportunity to be part of the Boeing Anti-Tamper Engineering Capability Center, which is tasked with the protection of all critical computers across all defense products developed within Boeing to enable US and export sales.

Position Responsibilities:

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
