    Assistant Professor/Clinical - Head and Neck Surgery Vascular Reconstruction (MSRH)

    The Department of Otolaryngology – HNS, Joe R.

    & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is seeking an Academic Comprehensive Otolaryngology-HNS for a faculty position to join a growing and dynamic academic program.

    This position will allow for the full spectrum practice of comprehensive Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery with an emphasis on complex Head and Neck Reconstruction including micro-vascular surgery.

    Completion of a formal fellowship training in Head-Neck Surgery/Reconstruction is preferred as well as training and experience in head-neck reconstruction, facial trauma, and multi-disciplinary head-neck cancer care.

    The position is part of the UT Health San Antonio Mays Cancer Center and the Multispecialty and Research Hospital.

    The faculty member would be part of a comprehensive academic Otolaryngology-HNS department with opportunities to impact resident and medical student education.

    The residency program is fully accredited for 10 residents.

    The practice is part of the UT Health Physicians Faculty Practice Plan including an appointment at the Mays Cancer Center MD Anderson and the Multispecialty and Research Hospital.

    There are opportunities for collaborative research across the school of medicine.
