Job Description

To support our growth and assist clients in the State Health and Human Services sector, Resultant is seeking an experienced Senior HHS Consultant. This role involves leading projects with state and county health and human services agencies, focusing on domains such as public health, Medicaid, behavioral health, and more.

The Sr. HHS Consultant will be responsible for understanding client requirements, creating solution recommendations, translating functional requirements into technical tasks, and collaborating with delivery teams to ensure successful project completion. This includes conducting discovery sessions, documenting requirements, managing project execution, and leading a team to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities:

Owning and managing the requirements process to prioritize functional and technical needs effectively.
Leading engaging discovery sessions that focus on client needs and leave them feeling energized.
Collaborating with teams and clients to align with strategic objectives that drive positive outcomes.
Utilizing empathy to create effective documentation and solve complex business challenges.
Facilitating technical and business discussions with stakeholders.
Managing agile project delivery using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Miro.

Qualifications

Some key skills we're looking for include:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
5+ years of experience in business analysis
Experience in state and local health and human services
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Expertise in technology implementation projects
Experience with project management tools and methodologies
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Experience in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant field
Understanding of human-centered design
Knowledge of healthcare data interoperability and social determinants of health
Experience with Google Cloud technologies
