Honor's Haven Retreat & Conference seeks a Ropes Course Facilitator to create an authentic human connection and integrative personal development environment.

The Ropes Course Facilitator will plan and deliver safe, fun, and age-appropriate ropes course programming for guests. They will also manage the operation of ropes course facilities and equipment, supervise groups, and work closely with the Activities Director and Assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and deliver ropes course programs for guests of various ages and abilities.

· Ensure staff and guests adhere to safety guidelines and educational procedures.

· Manage, inspect, and maintain ropes course facilities and equipment.

· Participate in resort activities, special events, and team functions.

· Set up, inspect, and maintain Ropes course equipment and elements.

Skills and Qualifications:

· High and low challenge course facilitation and/or top-rope climbing experience.

· Cooperative game and problem-solving initiative skills.

· Ability to manage and connect with groups of varying sizes and needs.

· Safety and supervision skills, including risk assessment and mitigation.

· Leadership and planning skills, including independent decision-making and program development.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands:

· Ability to perform duties in an outdoor setting with exposure to adverse weather conditions.

· Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift 35 pounds, and respond to emergency situations.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Must be 18 years old or older.

· High school graduation or equivalent and three years of community work or community-centered activities experience.

· Previous Ropes Course experience and certification in first aid and CPR are required.

· ACCT Level 1 Certification and/or PRCA + Facilitation Portfolio are preferred.
