Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm | Friday 9:00am–2:30pm
About the Opportunity
A well-established, small-to-midsized financial services firm (10+ years in practice) is seeking a detail-oriented Paraplanner to join their growing team.
This is a direct-hire, full-time onsite position ideal for someone passionate about financial planning and retirement strategy who enjoys working behind the scenes in a technical, analytical role.
Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Lead Advisor to prepare comprehensive financial plan recommendations
Develop retirement income plans and income distribution strategies
Prepare investment portfolio summaries and asset allocation analyses
Generate financial planning reports and tax strategy inputs
Assist with onboarding new clients and managing post-meeting workflows
Run annuity illustrations using online quote engines
Conduct one-off financial analyses as requested
Maintain accurate data entry in proprietary Excel-based planning systems
Occasionally communicate with clients for minor updates
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree
1–3+ years of experience in financial services (3–5 years preferred for experienced paraplanners)
Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
Highly detail-oriented with strong multitasking ability
Passion for financial planning, retirement planning, and investments
Seeking a fully onsite role
Preferred (Not Required):
CFP or CPA designation
Series 65 or Series 66 license
Experience as a Service Advisor, Financial Planner, or Financial Advisor transitioning to a technical-focused role
Ideal Candidate
Enjoys analytical, technical, and administrative aspects of financial planning
Comfortable working extensively with spreadsheets and financial modeling
Prefers a behind-the-scenes role rather than a fully client-facing position
Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented office environment
