BlueArrow CPA is a tribal-focused accounting & auditing firm offering a wide range of accounting, consulting, and audit and assurance services.
We are hiring an experienced Gaming Auditor with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Casino & Gaming Industry.
Various responsibilities of the auditor will include gaming and non-gaming functions ranging from the primary slot and table games to protecting Tribal Assets and ensuring compliance with all procedures and regulations.
The role also needs the auditor to perform data entry, filing, and recordkeeping to support the functions of the Finance Department.
This job profile requires high accuracy, speed, and excellent decision-making skills.Roles & Responsibilities of Gaming Auditor
Perform daily revenue center audits as per the guidelines
Ensure the W-2G, 1042, and 1099 documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner to comply with the IRS and casino guidelines.
Perform data processing, verification, and corrections to maintain the integrity and accuracy of records and reports.
Reporting discrepancies or variances identified during the audits.
Input the transaction data in a suitable database or spreadsheet to reconcile the total as per the requirements.
Accurately files, batches, boxes, and labels paperwork for archival storage.
Pick and drop off the slot and cage paperwork, mail, gaming tax paperwork, and other documents or paperwork at the designated locations across the casino.
Foster long-term professional relations with internal and external guests.
Attending and participating in the meetings as and when required.
Ensuring the cleanliness, safety, security, and maintenance of the work area.
Might be required to assist in special events as per the need.
Performing other duties as assigned by the management.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or general education degree.
Minimum two years of experience in audit, accounting, or related fields.
Candidates with previous experience in the gaming industry would be preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
Basic knowledge of casino operations and terminologies.
Possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
Self-motivated and adaptable to change.
Must act with discretion and confidence while handling sensitive information and material.
Strong writing, verbal and interpersonal skills and must be proficient in communicating with all levels within the organization.
Excellent time and project management skills. And must be efficient in managing multiple projects.
Ability to perform well under pressure and with deadlines, despite frequent interruptions and changes in priorities.
Can work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
