Description

Scoutside is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team This role can be either fully remote or in our Charleston, SC office (once we return to work).

Responsibilities
Developing detailed, comprehensive, well-structured test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects of varying size.
Developing and documenting test cases based on business requirements, functional and technical requirements, user stories and business use cases.

Working with strategists and project managers to determine the most effective testing and inspection strategy for projects of varying complexity and size.

Reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities.
Identifying, recording, documenting and thoroughly tracking bugs through their remediation.
Performing various testing types and techniques such as exploratory, functional, browser compatibility, usability, end-to-end, user acceptance and regression.
Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing deployments to meet client needs.
Providing test status updates and defect reports.
Providing QA support for scheduled deployments/releases on a weekly basis.
General Knowledge
Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies and processes.
2+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role working with E-commerce clients.
Proficiency in E-commerce Platforms (Shopify, ReCharge,Klaviyo, Yotpo, Loyalty Lion).
Knowledge and experience with Asana and Maker.

Strong multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
Significant experience in manual testing and test creation
Experience with cross-browser and/or cross-platform testing
Nice To Haves
A strong understanding of UX/UI and a passion for improving UI/UX through testing.
Software development experience using Javascript
Headless CMS & ecommerce (Contentful, Prismic, Sanity) knowledge
