Description

Spherion is seeking dedicated Forklift Operators to join a large, national logistic company located in Port Allen.

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in the warehouse by operating powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to efficiently move products, equipment, and materials.

Various shifts are available for the Forklift Operator position.

What We Offer:
Competitive hourly wage, ranging from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience.

We have various shifts available to accommodate different schedules.
$17-$18 DOE

Responsibilities:
Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move product, equipment, and materials.
Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
Load and unload trailers as required.
Work in a hot or cold warehouse environment, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit or stand for extended periods.
Perform inbound receiving processes.

Working hours: 5:00 AM - 5:00 AM

Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed.
Positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Effective communication skills with leadership and peers.

Education:
High School

Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

1 year of warehouse experience.
Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
High school diploma or equivalent.
