BJG Electronics is the premier domestic, and international supplier of electronic interconnect products to all major military and aerospace manufacturers.

BJG Electronics is looking for a Striper who will be responsible for staging material based on due dates, verifying raw material, setting up Striping Machines to print on wire and or cable. This position also assists with maintaining department inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Stage material for production based on ship dates and/or material availability
• Verify raw materials to ensure correct materials are being used
• Set up and run Striping equipment
• Determine machine settings based on polymer, stripe colors, and number of stripes
• Inspect material as it is being striped to ensure proper ink adhesion, consistency, and quality
• Document product results and materials used on the traceability sheet
• Consistently use material in a First in First Out procedure
• Return all material to its required packaging while maintaining traceability

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be mechanically inclined with demonstrated experience
• Strong math aptitude
• Familiarity with use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and email programs
• Ability to prioritize and organize jobs in consideration of assigned due dates
• Ability to self-start and to work independently and as a team with co-workers
• Ability to trouble-shoot problems

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
