- Serve Food in a timely manner.
- Ensure the food order is correct before serving to the guests.
- Monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests' needs.
- Describe in detail the preparation methods and ingredients of all the menu items.
- Carry multiple dishes (up to 3 at one time) in one hand without tray service.
- Refresh flatware after each course or upon guest request.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area/station.
- Ensure that your work area/station is clean and stocked at all times.
- Extensive Knowledge of food and beverage products.
- Ability to perform basic/intermediate math skills.
- Ability to operate point-of-sales systems.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests, staff, and management.
- Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.
- Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time. Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly. Visual ability needed to accurately measure ingredients for mixing drinks. Fast-paced, high-volume environment involving constant public. Requires standing, walking, and lifting a minimum of 20 lbs repeatedly. Shifts may vary based on business needs. Must be able to handle intoxicated guests in a professional manner. Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
- Work requires 6 months of previous food server/running experience.
- Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
- Must present a neat and professional appearance.
- Work requires interactions with customers, the public, and co-workers.
- Work requires teamwork with other staff members.
- High School education or equivalent.
