    Requirements:

    • All applicants must meet the local and state requirements for employment as a Special Education Teacher in Minnesota.
    • Possession of a valid Special Education teaching license or certification is required.
    • Previous experience working as a SPED teacher in a school setting is preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
    • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
    • Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities in both inclusive and pull-out settings.
    • Utilize a variety of assessment tools and strategies to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student progress, behavior, and services provided.
