• Location: Baltimore, MD
• Position Type: Permanent position.

Job Description:

TeamGOV Inc. is looking for a skilled Janitor Associate who will be responsible for maintain communication with the janitorial services manager/supervisor
Requirements:

• 2 years of Janitorial work or related work.
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check.
• Have a High School Degree/GED equivalent.
• Be able to lift 30 lbs. for 15-20 feet.
• Must be able to push and pull 20 lbs. to manoeuvre floor equipment.
• The ability to stop and bend to provide janitorial services.
• Must have reliable transportation or ability to get to BWI Airport daily.
• Shifts are between 9am to 6pm daily (Rotating Schedules Off days will vary). The janitorial associate reports directly to the Site Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Janitorial staff is scheduled in assigned areas to ensure that all carpeted and horizontal surfaces are detail vacuumed and dusted.
• Remove trash and recyclables from the assigned areas and dispose of them in the appropriate container on the loading dock.
• Before the end of the shift, remove food trash from the break rooms and police public restrooms.
• Detail the stairwells; this includes landings, steps, and handrails.
• Mop freight elevator landings and break room floors.
• Detail elevator cars and tracks.
• Clean the aluminium can recycling containers.
• Maintain communication with the janitorial services manager/supervisor.
• Inventory supplies and equipment and provide reports to Site Supervisor for ordering.
• Keep premises of all offices and buildings in a clean and orderly condition.
• Monitor own quality of work to ensure contract specifications are met.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and customer information that you may have access to.
• Participate in in-service training designed to maintain and improve job skills.
• Perform monthly carpet cleaning with teammates for 15 office spaces.
• Strip/Scrub & Wax floors semi-annually.
