$160K-$190K + $10K bonus + equity
This is a great opportunity for a Lead Software Engineer to join a Series B market leader in the EV Charging space that have raised $60M in funding This company is situated at the intersection of IoT, real estate, mobility and energy.
This role reports directly to the CTO and will act as the Tech Lead for the organization, driving architecture (React & Typescript) and building backend infrastructure ), whilst mentoring a small team of mid-level software engineers.
The ideal candidate will have a full stack background, but be heavily backend focused in They MUST come from the IoT space and have a track record of delivering software that runs on a hardware component.
Responsibilities:
Mentor a small team of mid-level software engineers
Hands on approach driving the architecture in React, Typescript and of their IoT EV Charging software platform.
Develop backend infrastructure of their IoT platform in
Proactively identify opportunities for innovation, process improvements, and technical optimizations to drive continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Requirements :
BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
7-10 years professional years of software engineering experience (full stack preferred)
2+ years experience as a Lead Software Engineer
5+ years programming experience with
3+ years programming experience with React and Typescript
Strong professional track record of working in IoT space
Nice to have:
Startup experience
DevOps experience
