    Job Description Manufacturing Engineering ManagerJob DescriptionManufacturing Engineering ManagerThe position oversees all manufacturing engineering aspects of the company, which are critical to the day-to-day functioning of the company.

    Skills & QualificationsQualifications Computer proficient in the following:

    MS Office including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Word, AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, and Inventor (or Solid works) Six Sigma, Lean Product development, Kaizen Activity are highly desirableAbility to lead a group of people in a constructive, productive and fair mannerAbility to multi taskAbility to read and interpret blueprints and mylarsStrong analytical and communication skillsAbility to drive relentless root cause analyses to gain from our mistakesPleasant personality, must interact with all levels of personnel, customers and vendorsRead and understand internal procedures and policiesOvertime and weekend work as needed to support manufacturingOvernight travel as needed to support customer and manufacturingAbility to keep confidential informationTeam oriented with a continuous improvement outlook Required Experience and EducationBachelor's degree, preferably in engineering discipline or a technical fieldExperience and/or knowledge of Unigraphics CAD/CAM preferredTen years experience in an aerospace manufacturing environmentManagement experience in an aerospace manufacturing environmentKnowledge of aerospace company specifications and practicesExperience in Design to Specification processes and Build to Print processesExperienced with line flow, standard work, tooling and LEAN manufacturing applicationsDesign for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) experienceMRP/ERP systems experienceDemonstrated ability to effectively build, manage and lead a manufacturing engineering department Safety Work EnvironmentMust have good finger dexterity - computer data entry.

    Safety Footwear shall be in accordance with the following:
    ASTM standard F with minimum impact resistance, compression resistance and metatarsal designation ratings of 75 foot pounds (i.e. ASTM F I/75 C/75 Mt/75), which are viewable on the inside tag of footwear.
