- Conduct evaluations to determine students' abilities and limitations in various functional areas.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to improve students' abilities to perform daily activities and participate in school-related tasks.
- Provide ongoing assessment and monitoring of students' progress toward goals.
- Collaborate with other members of the school team, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to ensure students receive comprehensive and coordinated services.
- Provide education and training to school staff on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state license in Washington
- Experience working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
