    This position will be assigned within government offices at Robins AFB, GA

    This position supports the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Program Office (PNT PO) with cutting edge development / modernization, and ongoing sustainment of a variety of GPS receivers and user equipment to meet DoD and national-level priorities

    In this role, you will:

    • Duties will include assisting with planning, executing and controlling technical aspects of acquisition programs
    • Will work with senior government personnel on a regular basis, and will frequently be called on to provide technical briefings and lead technical meetings/reviews
    • Will serve as a technical advisor to government personnel
    • Potential for liaison work with other Program Offices, and operational units.
    • Responsible for providing technical management and engineering support services to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of multiple GPS modernization programs

    Services include some or all of the following:

    • Assist with development of systems engineering requirements, program strategies, statements of work and acquisition plan
    • Conducting engineering trade studies and technical analyses
    • Evaluating development/integration/fielding of modernized GPS systems onto Air Force and DoD platforms
    • Assessing civil and military mandates associated with Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing to ensure satisfaction of Gov't requirements

    • A U.S
    citizenship


    • An active DoD Secret security clearance
    • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
    • years related program office engineering / acquisition experience
    • Experience with software-intensive electronic commodities
    • Knowledge of analog and digital circuits, systems design (HW and SW), and control theory design
    • Knowledge of applied electromagnetics, antennas, wave propagation, signal processing and encoding
    • Knowledge of aircraft avionics integration and communications bus structures
    • An understanding of Modern Systems Engineering and Requirements Management processes (i.e
    Model Based Systems Engineering, etc.)


    • An excellent written and verbal communications skills
    The ability to travel 10% Additional desired skills and qualifications:


    • Experience with defense acquisition management processes as contained in the DoD 5000 series directives
    • Understanding of the OSD and USAF Acquisition organization
