    *REGISTERED NURSE RN NEEDED ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL**PERMANENT ROLE IN RICHMOND , VIRGINA

    *Job Title: *RN Registered Nurse - Med Surg
    *Shift Time*: Day & Night shifts available (Rotating Weekends)
    *Experience Requirements: *Must have at least 1 year of RN experience. Medical surgical experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred. Willing to cross train from LTAC.
    *Salary range:* $65,624 - $93,745K annually based on experience
    *Sign-on bonus*: $10,000 (must have 1 year RN experience)
    *Relocation assistance: *Relocation assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis for Richmond

    *Registered Nurse RN Job Summary: Hospital is currently seeking compassionate and highly-skilled Registered Nurses to join our team in the 30-bed Surgical Care Unit. In this role, you will deliver exceptional patient care to individuals recovering from various surgical and post-surgical conditions. We are looking for dedicated professionals who thrive in a supportive and collaborative environment and are committed to providing patient-centered care.

    • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Surgical Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
    • Utilize computerized documentation systems to accurately record and communicate patient information, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
    • Coordinate patient discharge planning needs, including referrals to appropriate healthcare providers and community resources.
    • Maintain cultural and diversity awareness when interacting with patients, visitors, and colleagues, ensuring respectful and inclusive communication.
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
    *License/Certifications:
    • Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License
    • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification
