    About the role

    This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with a strong technical background and a track record of managing systems and communicating effectively with leadership and the users they support. You'll be instrumental in keeping the systems functioning while improving the layout, function, and structure of the work you support. Your work will enable strategic decision-making and think in scalability for every decision you make. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable with 2 or 3 of the below subjects that you would encounter in your daily work if you were to accept this role:

    • You have familiarity with Network hardware (Routers, Switches, Firewalls) and the ability to troubleshoot simple networking issues by applying concepts and basic command line tools.
    • You have worked with PCI-compliant systems
    • You have technical certifications in the domain of System Administration or IT Operations.
    • You have experience with AWS environments
    • You have experience in developing technical documentation or have experience giving presentations on technical topics
    • You have drafted and improved technical or instructional documentation for IT and End Users.
    • You are familiar with a scripting language (i.e. GAM, Python, etc.)

    In the role of the IT Operations Technician, you will report to the IT Director, Operations.

    We are considering applicants local to our San Francisco office.

    About You

    We get excited about candidates, like you, because...

    • Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science, related technical degree or equivalent experience.
    • 2+ years of IT Operations experience with demonstrated experience in following and improving operational processes and best practices.
    • Admin-level experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Apple and Windows computers.
    • Experience with issue-tracking software to prioritize your work.
    • Experience with Incident Management processes, including triaging, prioritizing, troubleshooting, documenting, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
    • Strong user-support experience and communicating effectively with non-technical and technical users.
    • Sensitivity toward handling and exposure of personal data and intellectual property.
    • Ability to follow Security best practices and policies. Identifies security issues and escalates to the appropriate team.
    • Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
    • Proficiency in communicating in person as well as over Slack or live meeting technologies.
    • Experience with a hosted or SaaS infrastructure and its configuration and maintenance.
    • Basic administration of at least three of the following: JAMF, Intune, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom, Azure, Microsoft, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence).
    • Identity Management experience with resetting passwords and clearing account lockouts.

The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll's Total Rewards offerings for employees.
