Indiana Blood and Marrow Transplantation (IBMT) at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis is actively seeking a dynamic physician to join our esteemed team.

    ABOUT US:

    At IBMT Franciscan Health, we're at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and expertise in treating hematological disorders including blood cancers, bone marrow/stem cell transplants, and CAR T-Cell therapies. Accredited by the Foundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT), our program boasts over 30 years of experience and conducts over 100 transplants annually, making us a leader in the region.

    IBMT has a longstanding history of exceeding expectations in transplant outcomes, consistently performing better than expected for several years. The 2023 CIBMTR report identified IBMT as one of only 12 centers to surpass expected outcomes for transplant patients. Specifically, IBMT exceeded expectations with an actual one-year survival rate of 87%, compared to an expected rate of 73.7%. IBMT is the only center in the Midwest that had outcomes that surpassed expectations.

    OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW:

    As a member of our inpatient stem cell transplant and cellular therapy patient care team, you'll work collaboratively with advanced practice providers in a multidisciplinary environment. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about transplantation and cellular therapy, quality patient care with opportunities for involvement in quality improvement initiatives and clinical trials specifically in malignant hematology and cellular therapy.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • MD or DO degree
    • ABIM certification in Hematology or Medical Oncology
    • Completion of a credentialed Hematology-Oncology fellowship training program
    • Additional training in transplantation and cellular therapy preferred but not required
