    As a Quality Assurance Director within PNC's Employee Channel Experiences organization, you will be based in Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL.

    The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. As a Quality Assurance Director, you will manage five senior leaders within the Employee Channel Experiences organization.

    Additionally, you will own the Quality Engineering Strategy and Execution for PNC's Employee Channel Experiences group, which includes enterprise CRM Capabilities (Salesforce being the largest), Branch Banker Experiences (Teller, etc), and the ATM experiences.

    Due to the nature of this position we are seeking candidates who possess the following skills:


    • Extensive experience with DevSecOps tooling (GIT, Jira, Jenkins, Artifactory)
    • Quality Engineering Test Strategy Definition and Execution
    • Enterprise CRM knowledge, with Salesforce Quality Engineering experience
    • Test Automation expertise leveraging BDD (Gherkin/Cucumber)
    • Test Automation transformation experience
    • Shift Left Mentality

    Agile Scrum experiencePreferred skills also include:

    • ATM Test Automation Experience, Specifically NCR ATM products
    • Teller (ARGO) System Test Automation
    • Oracle Siebel CRM Experience

    Job DescriptionLeads the strategic implementation of all QA activities and processes for major or multiple software products or systems.
    Ensures that the performance and quality products are in line with best practice. Evaluates emerging trends for potential implementation.
    Champions quality and drives increased efficiency and effectiveness related to how we delivery testing.

    Partners with peers to ensure that the software development standards and practices related to quality are ingrained in any and all software design and development.

    Partner internally with testing teams and with partners to solve problems and improve processes. Escalates concerns and potential solutions to senior management as appropriate.
    Interpret testing results with both a business and technical lens to make a final implementation recommendation. Reports to senior management on the results of software testing prior to implementation.

    Software Development Life Cycle - Knowledge of and experience with using a structured methodology for delivering new or enhanced software products to the marketplace.

    Software Quality Assurance And Testing - Knowledge of and ability to apply appropriate processes, tools, and techniques for assuring a high level of quality in computer software products and systems.

    Work ExperienceRoles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required.

    In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
