Job summary
The Maine Conservation Policy Associate supports AMC's policy priorities, builds networks of advocates and outdoor recreationists to support our work, and manages outward facing programs including the Great Maine Outdoor Weekend.Responsibilities
- Implement and grow the Great Maine Outdoor Weekend,
- Serve as a core member of the Maine Outdoor Coalition Steering Committee to build a network of stakeholders and support coordination within the outdoor community. ,
- Support the work of the Maine Policy Manager on a defined spectrum of conservation and recreation issues at the state and federal levels. ,
