    ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager, Social Responsibility, for our premier client's team that designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics.

    The Social Responsibility (SR) program drives customer trust and business continuity by ensuring respect for the rights of workers throughout our supply chain and operations.

    They uphold company standards and expectations (such as Supply Chain Standards) and seek to constantly improve the tools and processes that are used in doing so.

    We are looking for a results-oriented Social Responsibility Program Manager to join the organization's Sustainability Operations.

    This Senior Program Manager will own the Responsible Minerals program for branded digital devices. The opportunity requires excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, technical environment. At the core of the position is high attention to detail, and delivering high quality results on time.

    The ideal candidate is motivated, agile, with strong time management and project management skills, and has a strong bias for action.


    This Senior Program Manager will lead responsible minerals strategy and drive the implementation of new and existing programs across the Devices supply chain.

    You will serve as a subject matter expert on responsible minerals, including conflict minerals, and supply chain due diligence efforts.


    Key responsibilities include:
    Manage social responsibility and responsible minerals programs for Amazon Devices.
    Improve conflict minerals processes, and continue our work in other minerals.

    Work cross-functionally and coordinate with internal stakeholders to strategize implementation and success of programs, including implementation with third-party audit firms, suppliers, and upstream actors, such as smelters/refiners as needed.

    Understand end-to-end supplier due diligence process, and improve processes for ingesting and analyzing data.
    Develop and improve project management processes, prioritizing ways to leverage technology and automate.
    Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on value chain analysis, to include initiatives on key mineral traceability efforts.
    Create business metrics and reporting.
    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to track relevant emerging legislation and regulatory requirements.

    Develop external partnerships and outreach in coordination with internal teams, such as engagement with industry associations and partners that include RBA/RMI.

    Conduct smelter/refiner visits for critical minerals as needed.
    Domestic and international travel to company locations and supplier sites as needed.


    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, sustainability, or related field of study
    5+ years of experience in program or project management
    2+ years of professional experience in responsible sourcing, supply chain compliance, or sustainability
    2+ years of experience working in supply chain operations in an international context
    Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
    Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Advanced degree in relevant field such as law, business, public policy, supply chain management, sustainability or similar graduate degree
    Relentlessly high standards combined with strong bias for action
    Proven written and verbal communication skills
    Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    Experience managing a supply chain due diligence program with compliance reporting
    Knowledge of business and human rights guidance and standards, including experience working on forced labor issues
    Expertise in third party responsible minerals certifications and assessments
    Prior experience in responsible mineral sourcing
    Knowledge of supply chain mapping, traceability, and analytics
