    Description

    This position coordinates all aspects of Nurse Residency Programs including strategic planning operations curriculum development classroom education and interface with schools of nursing.

    Serves as coordinator for all nursing student placements and related requirements for the health system.


    • Provides effective leadership to new graduate nursing programs.
    • Communicates and collaborates with key stakeholders.
    • Takes action to achieve measurable results.
    • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

    Position Compensation Range:
    $82, $132,329.60 Annual


    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Education:
    Master of Science in Nursing from accredited program.

    Experience: 3 years clinical nursing experience required. 1 year educational or management experience required.

    Licensure:
    Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.


    PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
