SummaryPerdue AgriBusiness is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance MechanicinSalisbury, MDto support our Soybean Processing facility.

This position will be responsible to perform assigned electrical and/or mechanical duties within scope of classification to include equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown, and equipment failure.

Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform routine preventative maintenance on Mechanical and Electrical equipment.
Diagnose failures to mechanical and electrical equipment and make repairs.
Rebuild mechanical and electrical equipment.
Fabricate sheet metal and conduit.

Compile and complete paperwork relative to repairs to include but not limited to work orders, time cards, and job cards.

Perform all work within safety guidelines established by local, state, andfederal agencies as well as company policiesRespond to calls after hours and on weekends to repair mechanical equipment failures.

Perform other assigned tasks as assignedMinimum EducationHigh School or equivalentAdvanced electrical training preferredExperience Requirements- 4years of related experienceGeneral knowledge of computer, operating and network systemsBasics of working around and using High Voltage equipmentBasics of microprocessor-based equipment (loop controllers, VFD, etc.)Experience with gearbox systems, pump systems, conveyors, pneumatics and hydraulicsWelding experience, mig and stickEnvironmental Factors and Physical RequirementsPosition is active.

Able to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing verticalladders '), carrying tools and equipment (0
50 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, %), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available). Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus. Required to travel to remote AgriBusiness facilities.
