    Requirements:

    • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
    • Strong communication skills
    • Highly dedicated and results-oriented individual
    • Great working knowledge in Python
    • Experience using modern IDEs to develop and debug code
    • Experience using git or other version control software
    • Experience and/or knowledge in Agile Scrum development process, and cloud environment

    At Sorting Robotics Inc., we are seeking a talented Software Engineer to contribute to the development of hardware and software solutions for the legal cannabis industry. As a part of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of products and gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies.

    This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position where you will apply your expertise in software/hardware UI and system architecture. You will face challenging technical issues alongside a supportive team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Advanced Python coding
    • Utilize industry standard tools
    • Enhance problem-solving skills to drive project progress
    • Make impactful decisions for future design strategies

    Preferred:

    You must be comfortable with cannabis, as we focus on innovations for the legal cannabis market in California. Additionally, a background in Agile Scrum development and virtualized/cloud environments is a plus.

    While the role may involve long hours and persistent challenges, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a high-value product within a supportive work environment.

    Compensation: $125k - $145k annual (DOE) + Equity 0.30% - 0.50% (DOE) + Fun Company Perks
