The Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science (PPS) at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor with tenure. Emerging or established clinician scientists with practice teaching and research expertise in oncology neuroscience or ambulatory care are especially desired.Qualifications
- PharmD with post-doctoral residency or fellowship training; or Pharmacy degree BPharm PharmD and PhD
- Eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist in the state of IowaExperience conducting research using observational data clinical trials and/or mixed methodsEvidence of strong potential for scholarly productivity in terms of peer-reviewed publications and extramural fundingEvidence of strong interest in multi-and inter-disciplinary researchEstablished record scholarshipExtramural fundingUnmistakable evidence national reputation one desired fields expertiseClinical practice experience one desired fields expertiseExperience teaching College Pharmacy didactic experientialExperience grant writing federal equivalentExperience management curation linking large data setsExperience traditional statistical methods within biostatistics epidemiologyDissemination implementation experience
