*Position*: Med/Surg

*Pay*: Based on experience, estimated range $ $49.14;

Shift Differentials:
PM $3.50/hr, Nights $5/hr, Weekends $10/hr

*Shift*: Days 7am - 7pm or Nights 7pm - 7am; Weekends/Holiday: Rotating weekend and preassigned holiday rotation.

*About the Unit*This is a Med/Surg unit with exciting ways for RNs to enhance skills and gain more experience. This department has a variety of med/surg patients as well as intermediate care Neurology and Thoracic patients.

• Patient Population: variety of diagnoses on the 29 bed unit.
• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:4/5
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications;
• Provide wound care.
• Patient and family education on treatment and care.

• License: NC RN
• Certifications: BLS
• Experience: 1 year of RN
• Education: Associates but must have BSN within 7 years
