    Job is seeking to hire a CNA Medical for our client in Springfield, MO

    Shift:7:00 PM-7:00 AM

    Required Licensure:
    Current CNA License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.)

    Required Certifications:
    BLS or CPR from AHA only

    Preferred Certifications:
    Years of Experience: 1 year in an acute care hospital

    Float Requirements:
    will float on a rotational basis

    Additional Information:


    Under the direction of the RN or LPN, assists in the individualized care of the patient to achieve the patient's highest level of wellness.

    Works cooperatively with others as part of a team; recognizes the importance of group goals. Performs designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks essential to providing care to the patient.

    Overview:
    Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.

    Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, client Code of Conduct, client Mission and Values and client Service Standards.

    Physical Requirements:
    Stand and walk most of the time on duty. Meet unit specific physical demands. Significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance.

    May be required to work differing schedules, shifts, days of the week, or work frequency according to patient care requirements.

    High risk exposure to blood and body fluids.

    Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs., pinch up to 15 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.

    Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for patient post trauma, surgical interventions and medical comorbitities. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and client Service Standards. #ZR
