- Accountable for performing work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and in accordance with established procedures as required due to being a Responsible Care facilityMaintenance Mechanic's primary responsibilityMid-level technician. Performs assignments of a general nature requiring use and application of standard maintenance methods and tools.
- Uses safe work practices.
- Pump functions and uses along with types
- Repair and assembly of mechanical seals of all types
- Identify and use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Work independently, following all safety procedures.
- Rebuilding of industrial equipment
- Participate on call out and weekend rotation list.
- Must work fair share of overtime without being forcedThis is currently a day shift (Mon-Friday) opportunity, however, this may require shift work
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3 years of maintenance experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment
- Must be a US Citizen due to government contracts
