    POSITION OVERVIEW:


    A successful Assistant Slot Service Manager will be able to coordinate with management, dispatch, slot service technicians, drop team, security, vault, and various slot manufacturers to ensure calls for service are completed in an effective and timely manner.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:


    • Support and in the absence of the Slot Service Manager oversee the smooth operation of the service department which includes slot technicians, slot install team and slot drop team
    • Recruit, manage, and develop Slot Service Technicians, Slot Route Supervisors and Drop team members.
    • Ensure employees are in compliance with all policies and procedures and that they are trained properly.
    • Continually evaluate and manage employee issues and their performance. Administer progressive discipline when required.
    • Provide constructive feedback to upper management regarding necessary changes or improvements.
    • Monitors calls for service to ensure ATMs, slot machines and related equipment are in working order.
    • Develop, review and implement, upon approval, new procedures to ensure the smooth and effective operation of slot machine maintenance
    • Coordinate fleet vehicle maintenance and service
    • Manage and maintain part inventories for slot machines, ATMs and other associated equipment
    • Coordinates with Install Team, Drop Team and other departments on all projects, new locations and any upcoming changes in the slot route.
    • Coordinate with various manufacturers game installs/removals, theme conversions, moves, par/game setting changes, and mandatory gaming notification upgrades.
    • Ensures integrity of all slot machine documentation. Investigates and reports any irregularities to compliance.
    • Review checklists and PAR sheets for accuracy when compared to slot machine options
    • Diagnose and repair ATM and slot machine components and associated equipment.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be at least 21 years of age.


    • Five (5) years of Slot Technician or similar experience required
    • Three (3) year in a Slot Management role required.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access
    • Ability to read and interpret slot PAR sheets
    • Practical knowledge of slot machine repair, hardware, software and other components
    • Previous experience with Konami Synkros player tracking preferred.
    • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Ability to operate power tools, electronic test equipment, pallet jack and hand truck
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
