- Reviews patient data prior to patient treatment.
- Implements the Physical Therapist's treatment plan to achieve the stated goals and documents the patient's response to the treatment.
- Obtains and records patient data.
- Reports significant changes in patient condition to Physical Therapist.
- Oversees the initiated teaching and documents inpatient progress reports.
- Demonstrates ability to use equipment according to procedure.
- Demonstrates knowledge of patient/family education and teaching programs.
- Demonstrates the ability to track, organize and clean equipment for the area of responsibility.
- Demonstrates the ability to track and order supplies for the area of responsibility.
- Demonstrates knowledge of supply and equipment set-up of supplies &/or equipment for treatment procedures as directed by Physical Therapist.
- Responsible for reporting any safety-related incident in a timely fashion through the Midas/RDE tool; attends all safety-related training programs; performs work in a safe manner; monitors work environment for possible safety issues and ensures others are also performing work in a safe manner.
- Stays current and complies with state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies that impact the employee's area of responsibility.
- If required for the position, ensures all certifications and/or licenses are up-to-date and valid prior to expiration dates.
- Completes all company mandatory modules and required job-specific training in the specified time frame.
- Demonstrates the ability to participate in ongoing departmental process improvement.
- Attends at least 75% of department meetings; responsible for 100% of meeting content by reviewing minutes, discussing with meeting facilitators, and/or reviewing presentations.

Responsibilities
Patient Care
EducationHigh School Diploma or GED- Required
Certification & LicensuresBLS (American Heart Association)- Required
Employee will obtain and maintain appropriate clinical competencies for the roles assigned by their departmental leader.
ExperienceAdvanced training or education in topics of anatomy/physiology/health- Preferred
Direct patient care experience- Preferred
Computer and office skills- Preferred
