This position will have administrative responsibility for nursing and non-nursing staff assigned to evenings and weekends, as assigned by the Nurse Executive and Administration.
Job Duties/Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction, on his/her assigned shift, to other registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, psychiatric technicians, counselors, and unit coordinators.
Ensure appropriate staffing for number and acuity of patients on assigned shift, utilizing float pool and agency staff, as needed.
Participate in the nurse management team by assisting in the development of the hospital's philosophy of nursing and Policies and Procedures.
