    Description

    Overview:
    We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team.

    The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.


    Job Duties:


    Floor RN and LPN roles are very similar and include: Med and treatment administration, blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration, IV meds (mostly IV antibiotics, Lasix and bumex), TPN, tube feedings, wound care (including wound measurement), lab draws and specimen collection, foley/cath care, trach care, ADL assistance, assessment charting, incident reports, monitoring vitals, oxygen administration/management, etc.

    Nurses may assist with wound care - facilities try to keep wound care assigned to 1-2 consistent nurses, which
    may include DNS.

    • Experience: Need to have experience in smaller, rural facilities.
    • Are there IVs or titratable drips: Antibiotics, hydration
    • Are there Tele monitors: No telemetry
    • DON/Charge Nurse/

    House Supervisor:
    DNS (DON) & Charge nurse (charge can be LPN or RN).

    • Physician availability after hours: Differs per facility. Will contact the office during regular business hours or use
    the on-call phone number as needed.

    Job Types:
    Contract, Travel nursing

    Pay:
    $1, $2,300.00 per week
