- Construct walls, foundations, fences, walkways, and roads using bricks, stone, concrete blocks, or marble.
- Carve and build structures and surfaces with bricks or concrete blocks.
- Place brick or concrete blocks on mortar bed.
- Cut bricks to fit around windows and doors using appropriate tools.
- Finish concrete surfaces.
- Measure distances and layout work.
- Mix mortar and grout for brick or block laying.
- Spread mortar onto brick or block surfaces.
- Inspect brickwork to ensure correct structure.
- Perform additional assigned duties.
- Extensive knowledge of brick/block laying techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Physically capable of performing labor required for brick and block laying.
- Able to lift up to 80 pounds and work in various environments.
- Previous experience in construction.
- Understanding of safety protocols and compliance.
- Passing a drug/background check.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with three years of related experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Completion of a Technical/Vocational School Program.
- Preferably possess OSHA 10 certification.
