    Want to join our team? We have an opening for a Section Leader in our Fabrication Facility in Old Hickory, TN.


    Job Duties and Responsibilities:


    Provides leadership, direction, and feedback to assigned section's employeesResponsible for the distribution and completion of work ordersSafely operates all equipment including a forkliftMaintains safe and clean workspaceReports all equipment malfunctions, safety, and repair issuesDetermines required equipment, methods, and techniquesCheck fabrication paperwork and material for accuracy in assigned sectionAnalyzes weld sheets, blueprints, and assembly drawings to plan layout, assembly, and welding operationsInspects work for defects, dimensions, alignment, and end preparations using various processes, including a penetration sprayAssists with bundling orders for customersMonitors inventory levels of raw materials of assigned sectionFills in as needed within the assigned sectionPromote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.

    Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor.

    Work Environment:
    The physical environment requires the employee to work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment

    Physical Demands:


    Ability to be punctual and attend work on a regular and consistent basisThe person in this position needs to wear appropriate safety clothing and shoes when needed which includes welding apparel and gloves, helmets, respirators, and steel toe shoes etc.

    Must be able to stand for 100% of the timeOccasionally will be expected to lift large materials not to exceed 80 poundsMinimum Requirements:
