    Job SummaryOur Southern CA Area is seeking a Lead Bridge Engineer.


    Responsibilities & QualificationsDuties and Responsibilities:
    Performing engineering design, analysis and calculations at the Senior Bridge Engineer level.
    Supervises and mentors junior Engineers.
    Conduct all technical analyses, documentation and client relationships following TYLins quality assurance and quality control processes.
    Actively pursue opportunity for partnerships with other planning and engineering firms in bidding for new contracts.
    Prepare contract budgets and scopes of work.
    Ensure successful completion of projects under his/her direction.
    Ensure proper codes and standards are being used on projects.
    Participate in company strategic planning efforts.
    As a seller-doer, participate in BD activities for pursuit of bridge work opportunities.
    Other assignments as needed.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structural design. and Professional Engineering license are required.
    Masters Degree in Structural Engineering preferred but not mandatory.12+ years of professional experience required.
    Has served as a Bridge Task Lead on larger projects.
    Proficient in leading technical aspects of bridge projects, writing reports, specifications, etc.
    Experience with managing bridge projects.
    Experience in proposal writing.
    Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and bridge engineering software.
    Position requires meeting continuing education requirements to maintain licensure.
    Ability to prepare comprehensive engineering reports.

    Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients toughest challenges.
    High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
    Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.
    Experience with California local and state procedures strongly preferred.

    As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $131, $197,900.00 annually for this position and local market.
