What You'll Do

As a Transition Specialist, your hands-on role will provide vital support to seniors and their families during relocation, downsizing, estate sales, and home clean-outs. Your core responsibilities will include:

Client Support & Transition Assistance

• Deliver compassionate service to clients dealing with significant life changes.
• Assist in decluttering, downsizing, and organizing belongings with care.
• Pack and unpack household items to create welcoming new living spaces.
• Stage, sort, and label belongings for resale, donation, or disposal.

Estate Sales & Home Liquidation

• Photograph and catalog items for online auctions and estate sales.
• Help set up and manage estate sales, interacting with buyers and processing transactions.
• Maximize item value through strategic resale and donation channels.

Logistics & Physical Tasks

• Lift and move items (up to 25 lbs); larger items are managed by professional movers.
• Clean and prepare homes for new residents or sale.
• Travel within the Chicagoland area to various client locations.
