- Document requirements, process models and other artifacts to be used in development of START
- Lead trainings, presentations, elicitation sessions, conferences calls, webinars and other tools and technologies to gather and disseminate information with domestic and international partners
- Add to Product Backlogs and communicate user needs to multiple stakeholders
- Coordinate and facilitate exchange meetings to determine needs of customers; as well as to determine the impact of changes
- Provides input for documentation on new or existing systems/business processes
- Support the collection and reporting of requirements related metrics
- Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
- Participate in special projects as assigned
- Travel required to better understand refugee processing in the START application and maintain user expertise

As a United States Refugee Program (USRAP) Business Advocate Mid/Computer Systems Analyst supporting the Department of State managed United States Refugee Admissions Program, you will be trusted to work on a variety of tasks supporting the USRAP ensuring refugees are properly screened while looking at ways to create efficiencies to a variety of business processes. USRAP Business Advocates work closely with Resettlement Support Centers (RSCs), PRM, Refugee Operations at the Refugee Processing Center and other external stakeholders to support development of the START. START is a cloud-based case management system and reporting tool that assists in managing refugee processing activities. RSC Business Advocates ensure they work within and across collaborative environments both internally and externally to train users and to document stakeholder policy, procedures, processes and needs. The likely salary range for this position is $52,603 - $87,859. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee's date of hire.
