    Description


    Electrical Sr EstimatorRedwood Electric is looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual who will be responsible for estimating the cost of construction projects.

    This role will primarily work in our Santa Clara, 95051 office.

    ResponsibilitiesDetermine the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for electrical construction projects.
    Research electrical project documents and analyze specifications.
    Prepare estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling electrical project work.
    Manage pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions.

    Prepare estimates to meet project timelines, such as setting work hours, sequencing tasks, obtaining materials, and securing the best deals with vendors and subcontractors.

    Ensure that relevant documents and budgets are submitted before a bid deadline.
    Regularly report to management and keep clients updated on the project status.
    Formulate contingency plans and effectively manage risks that might impact cost and time estimates.
    Keep track of the latest estimating technology and industry-related techniques.
    Collaborate with other teams, conducting site visits, and providing other services, like bid deliveries, when required.

    Skills and QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experienceHigh School Diploma or GEDPostsecondary education electrician training program a plusBachelors degree in related field is a plusExperience in Construction is requiredExperience with Accubid Trimble is preferredProficient with Microsoft Office & Adobe AcrobatBenefits:
