    Job Title: Environmental Services Associate at Chesterton Health & Emergency Center

    Chesterton Health & Emergency Center is located at 770 Indian Boundary Road in Chesterton, Indiana.     Responsibilities:

    • Clean and disinfect floors using hospital-specific equipment like microfiber cloths and wet mops.
    • Sanitize horizontal surfaces such as over-bed tables, counters, and furniture.
    • Ensure cleanliness of restroom surfaces including toilets, sinks, showers, walls, floors, and mirrors.
    • Clean and sanitize vertical surfaces like walls, ceilings, and windows.
    • Inspect rooms for proper cleaning, reporting any safety or maintenance issues.
    • Dispose of trash and linen, clean receptacles, and restock supplies.
    • Sanitize high-touch areas such as light switches, bed rails, and doorknobs.

    Qualifications:

    - High School Diploma/GED Preferred

    - 1 year of Healthcare Preferred

    Travel Requirements: Never or Rarely
