    Overview

    Join our team at Quincy Medical Group (QMG) as a Physical Therapist and make a difference in the lives of patients suffering from injuries or musculoskeletal conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in restoring function, alleviating pain, and preventing disability through the administration of medically prescribed physical therapy treatments.     Responsibilities

    As a Physical Therapist at Quincy Medical Group, your responsibilities will encompass evaluating and managing dysfunction to enhance physical and functional abilities. You'll conduct thorough examinations, interpret physician referrals, gather patient history, and perform tests and measures to identify problems. Establishing individualized short- and long-term goals for each patient's episode of care, you'll utilize evidence-based interventions to achieve these goals and adjust treatments as needed for efficient progress. Your role will also involve effectively managing patient care, providing clinical supervision, and maintaining open communication with referring providers. Additionally, you'll actively participate in meetings, committees, and professional development activities. Importantly, your schedule will be flexible, with no weekends or holidays required, allowing for adjustment based on candidate availability and departmental needs.     Qualifications

  • Must possess valid Illinois licensure or be eligible, along with CPR certification.Graduation from an approved APTA school of physical therapy is required.Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, lifting, and performing various therapeutic maneuvers.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and interact compassionately with patients.Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards, protecting patient confidentiality, and providing a safe and respectful environment.
