Job DescriptionBull Creek Veterinary Service is a privately owned and operated small animal and equine practice. We are hiring an experienced full or part-time veterinary assistant to work alongside our small animal veterinarians and veterinary technicians; to help maintain our excellent quality of care and achieve greater efficiency in the hospital.
As a Veterinary Assistant, you will assist doctors and technicians during routine appointments, treatments and surgery. You will need to properly restrain patients for procedures and maintain a clean, professional work environment. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
ensure supplies are adequately stocked in exam rooms.
set up and clean any instruments needed by the doctor.
accurately dispense medications prescribed by the doctor.
assist Veterinary Technicians in preparing patients for surgery, radiology and ultrasonography.
