Exciting Obstetrics and Gynecology Locum Tenens Opportunity in Beautiful Washington State Are you an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician seeking a new and rewarding locum tenens assignment? Position Overview: Schedule: This is an ongoing opportunity with scheduled clinical hours plus call, allowing for a well-rounded experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The assignment arises due to extended contract negotiations with current OBs, presenting a unique chance for you to step in and make a positive impact. Patient Load: The clinic caters to approximately 20-22 patients per shift, with an average of 1200 deliveries per year. You will be involved in low and high-risk pregnancies, routine deliveries, and a variety of obstetric and gynecologic procedures. Setting: Join a facility that accepts multiple providers, equipped with McKesson and Athena EMR systems. Temporary privileges are available for providers with a clean background and a completed application, ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Credentialing and Support: Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required, with a preference for fellowship-trained physicians. Active licensure in Washington is a must, and the facility will only consider bids from providers with an active WA license. Credentialing timeframes, including temporary privileges, are estimated to be expedited for qualified candidates. Support Staff and Call Details: Work alongside a dedicated team, including 2 RNs, 3 MAs, and 7 office staff members. Call coverage is 24/7, and you'll be supported by efficient beeper communication with a 1:3 call ratio. Specialty Skills and Details: Utilize your expertise in obstetric and gynecologic procedures, including routine and complicated deliveries, surgeries, and gynecologic office procedures. Laser certification is a plus.
