Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Development of detailed technical data packages in compliance with customer requirements.
Assist in the planning, design, and launch of facility manufacturing processes.
Ability to apply lean principles to an existing product design and manufacturing processes by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
Able to recommend capital equipment requirements to achieve manufacturing goals based on product specification.Possess strong knowledge of product development in manufacturing, production process, and equipment or machinery.
Experience in robotics, automation, tooling, molding, and fixtures is preferred.
Maintain a direct interface with customers to ensure project success.
Work cooperatively within an integrated team to deliver exceptional results.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of process, industrial, or manufacturing engineering experience required, preferably in the automotive industry.
AutoCAD experience doing facilities layout.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Project, Word, and PowerPoint.
Significant local and overnight travel is required to company or customer facilities.
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder to work on our government contracts.
