    Description:

    Leading National Electrical Subcontractor is hiring for a Superintendent to support Bay Area projects. These project scale up to the size of 500 unit MF projects. Most of the work performed is in the East Bay Oakland area but ranges from Novato to South San Jose. Bay Area electrical experience is not needed.

    This SI will have 1-2 project engineers. Looking for someone who has ran multiple projects – put together a budget, ins and out of code in dept., scheduling. This Superintendent will stay in the Bay Area from North Bay, East Bay, SF, to South Bay.

    Majority of work consists multi unit residential which is 75% work load; commercial TI and low voltage other 25%.

    Day to day:

    Managing and providing leadership for safety and environmental programs

    Monitoring job costing, quality reporting, forecasting and productivity

    Coordinating all labor, materials, and equipment

    Completing field administration: timesheets, quantity reports, purchases, and the job diaries

    Organizing and coordinating all subcontractor activities

    Implementing and monitoring the construction plan; including scheduling and logistics

    Supervising, mentoring, and developing field personnel (15+ electricians)

    Participating in all field work activities and willing to work with tools when necessary

    Collaborates with support departments such as prefabrication, purchasing, and accounting.

    Journeyman Trade Certification in a related Construction trade will be considered an asset
