- Out-Of-House SICU & Floor call responsibilities, Donor call organ assessment & OR call responsibilities
- Attends and participates in transplant team meetings including Patient Review Committee, hospital interdisciplinary rounds, discharge planning and QAPI. Participation in database & clinical research
- Health Care Provider BLS(CPR)
- Graduate of a physician assistant program approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
- Minimum of two years post-graduation clinical experience or one-year post-graduate surgical residency training experience
- Ability to self-direct and work without direct supervision
- Conduit Vein harvesting open/endoscopic
- Conduit Arterial harvesting open
- Surgical 1 st assistance training & Proficiency
- Cardiothoracic Surgery Certificate of Added Qualification (CTS CAQ)
- Fellow of the Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiovascular Surgery (FAPACVS)
- Cardiac Surgical Unit Advanced Life Support Certification (CSU ALS)
- Robotic surgical training

The Physician Assistant (PA) supports the clinical operation of AdventHealth Transplant Institute with primary focus on clinical services in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
Pre-operative admission, consultation, evaluation and medical optimization; Intra-Operative 1st and 2nd assistance; Post-operative ICU and floor patient care and discharge.
Pre & Post Operative clinic; Out-Of-Hospital patient clinical phone call management & Out-Of-Hospital operative call-in. Post-operative patient ICU and floor managementSchedule:
