    Description
    Evergreen Family Medical Center (we are open 6 days a week, Located just 20-30 minutes from town) is looking for a full-time and part-time, detail-oriented Medical Assistant/CNA/ Phlebotomist/ LPN/EMT to work back office

    Responsibilities:
    • Vitals: BP, HR, Pulse Ox, RR, Weight, Temperature, Orthostatic
    • Be able to care for all ages, Pediatric all the way to Geriatric patients.
    • Rooming patients including checking in and connecting patients for Televisits
    • Be able to keep your schedule on time while still completing extra duties assigned to you by your manager.
    • Calling patients with Provider interpreted Lab results
    • Scheduling appointments for Patients
    • Knowledgeable with pharmacology and able to review and update patient medications.
    • Able to troubleshoot patient concerns/complaints, broken down equipment, and unusual scenarios.
    • Entering patient data in EMR
    • Update medical hx, medications, social history, hospitalizations, surgeries, etc.
    • Injections/ vaccinations: IM/ SUB-Q/ ID
    • In-house testing: EKGs, PFTs, X-ray setup, Lab Testing, MOCA, etc.
    • Stocking rooms
    • Cleaning and sterilizing tools
    • Washing and folding patient gowns
    • Help facilitate DME equipment set up as well as coordinating same-day Oxygen set up
    • Assist providers with minor procedures/ exams
    • Able to explain treatment procedures: Colposcopies, Vasectomies, etc:
    • Suture removal
    • Wound care dressing changes/ application/ removal
    • Cast Removal
    • Phlebotomy- Venipuncture/ Able to collect specimens identify proper patient identification, process, and send specimens to the correct lab.
    • Performing CLIA-waived in-house tests and putting results into EMR: Drug Screens, Urine Preg Tests, Urinalysis screening, Rapid Flu/ COVID/ RSV/ Strep testing, etc.
    • Triaging calls and walk-in patients

    Full-time (4 days a week) and Part-time both include one Saturday on a rotation.

    Requirements:
    • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant/CNA/ Phlebotomist/LPN/EMT program and/or on-the-job experience of at least 2 years A PLUS. Willing to train if needed.
    • Strong computer skills include working on an electronic medical record (e-Clinical Works a plus)
    • Excellent personable skills
    • Spelling and grammar are essential
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; attending in-office meetings/ trainings; stay up on all office and position protocols.
    • Enhances health care practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
    • Limited Scope Operator (State Certification) is a HUGE plus.
    • Current BLS/CPR Certification or will schedule onsite.
    • Work for 10 or more hours in a standing position and do frequent walking.
    • Able to Lift and transfer patients
