The Department of Psychology at Morehead State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Clinical Psychology. The anticipated start date is August 12, 2024.
The department has an undergraduate program in psychology, an undergraduate program in neuroscience, and an MPCAC-accredited master's program in clinical psychology. Applicants must have a firm commitment to teaching, training, and mentoring students.
Morehead State University is located in Morehead, KY, a designated Kentucky Trail Town nestled in the Daniel Boone National Forest, close to Cave Run Lake. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in the master's program in clinical psychology; teaching undergraduate courses in one's areas of competency; developing a research program involving students; and participating in service activities.
QUALIFICATIONS: By the start date of employment, an applicant should have a Ph.D. or a Psy.D. from a clinical or counseling program (APA-accredited program preferred) and be eligible for licensure in Kentucky.
