    Job Details:

    • Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
    • On-call requirements include at least 2 weekends in an 8-week schedule and 1-2 nights during the week
    • Weekday call starts at 5:30 PM or 7:00 PM depending on staffing and goes until 7:00 AM next morning
    • Weekend call runs from 7:00 AM Saturday until 7:00 AM Monday morning (48 hours)
    • Once trained in neuro, call will be split between cardiac and neuro procedures
    • 2 years of experience in specialty required

    Required certifications:
    ARRT, ACLS, BLS


    • RCIS certification not accepted
    • Must be proficient in diagnostic right and left heart catheterization
    • Perform interventional catheterization procedures including Rotablator and closure devices
    • Manage IABP placement and removal
    • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
    • Circulate and scrub for procedures
    • Maintain sterile procedure and equipment setup
    • Work with middle adult to geriatric patient population
    • Use computerized documentation systems (Epic preferred)
    • Handle daily caseload of 15-30 cases in 5-room unit
    • Perform specialized procedures including Impella insertion, various stent placements, and neuro interventional procedures
    • Must be more than 75 miles from facility to qualify for traveler rates
