    38th Modern Dental, located in the Denver Highlands, is hiring an experienced EDDADental Assistant with a background in general dentistry.     This is a full-time, Monday-Thursday position. We offer a robust benefits package, competitive hourly wage, bonus opportunities, professional development, PTO, and holiday pay. We seek an EDDA Dental Assistant who will bring reliability, a strong work ethic, a fun attitude, and a team-oriented and patient-centric focus to our practice.

    Your primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming patients into the practice with a genuine and caring welcome using the patient's name
  • Preparing patients for treatment to ensure the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
  • Preparing rooms for surgical and restorative procedures
  • A thorough review of patient health history adding updates as necessary
  • Assisting the Dentist chairside and the ability to work independently as well
  • Capturing diagnostic radiographs
  • Capturing 3D scans - experience with iTero is a plus
  • Assisting with Invisalign cases
  • Placing composite restorations
  • Assisting with all types of prosthodontic procedures
  • Providing postoperative instructions after procedures, answering any questions patients may have about dental care provided, and scheduling appointments for follow-up care
  • Sterilizing instruments according to regulations
  • Maintaining a timely schedule
  • Managing lab cases, including tracking, progress, and delivery
  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory and supplies
  • Monitoring and maintaining dental equipment
    • Requirements
  • EDDA certification
  • 1 + years of EDDA experience is required
  • X-Ray certification
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • Denticon software experience is a plus but not required
